Scott Salem
Wizard of OCTA
Scott Salem is a local web developer, actor, and music director in the Kansas City area. When he first moved to the neighborhood in 2015, OCTA was the second theatre he ever worked at, and since then he was hooked!
Scott has appeared in a number of productions at OCTA, including as Matthew in Altar Boyz, Shem/Ensemble in Children of Eden, and Roger in A New Brain. He has also music directed two Buddy Award winning “Best Shows” of their season at OCTA, A Man of No Importance and most recently, Stephen Sondheim’s Assassins.
When not coding or trying to understand ticketing systems, Scott can be found running dungeons and dragons campaigns with his friends, or desperately trying to get his cat, Sonder, to enjoy a leash/harness so they can go on walks around the neighborhood.
