Shawn Muller

Shawn first joined the OCTA family during the 1990s in A Streetcar Named Desire, The Diviners, and Done to Death. Those experiences directly led to him pursuing his undergraduate degree in Theatre & Film at The University of Kansas. During his Senior year he helped develop the website for the International Dialects of English Archive. After graduation, he moved to Los Angeles to be in the industry where he was fortunate enough to perform in stand up comedy, commercials, stage productions, voiceovers, and work at the Motion Picture Television Fund Foundation. In 2001, he moved back to Kansas City to become a residential RealtorĀ®. The demands of his career and family life drew him away from the stage until 2026 when he returned home to OCTA and the stage as Mr. Peel in The Minutes. During the day, he serves as Managing Broker and Vice President at the ReeceNichols Prairie Village Office. He is supported by his incredible wife, Rachel, and his two amazing kids, Michael and Noah. He humbly thanks all those talented Directors at OCTA who believed in him: Geri Eicher, Lloyd Bolick, and Emily Bridges.
