EXCITING 2021-2022 ANNOUNCEMENTS!

Olathe, KS (February 14, 2021) – Olathe Civic Theatre Association (OCTA) announces a new season, brand new virtual event, and New Works Playwright Competition update.

Announcing a first-ever virtual cabaret from OCTA – BROADWAY: Sung and Gone. To celebrate the one-year anniversary of OCTA closing down for the pandemic, we are putting on a cabaret featuring songs from Broadway shows that lasted a year or less. Hidden gems and gems that should have stayed hidden abound! The event premieres on Facebook April 2nd and will run through the month. It will feature a plethora of local talent. Check our Facebook and Instagram for picture updates.

*OCTA has decided to not move forward with this year’s New Works Playwright Competition. We will reconnect with our NW family in 2022, hopefully in person!*

OCTA also announces our 2021-2022 season! We are consistently checking for the latest CDC health guidelines, but we wanted to announce our current plans for the rest of the year and beyond.
