In loving memory of The Jan Conner Christmas Show

Greetings Friends!
The holidays are approaching and OCTA is ready to get back to live entertainment with “OCTA is Home for the Holidays.” Our dates are Thursday December 9th, Friday 10th, Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th; 8pm nightly/2pm matinee.
We are ready to see people in person – no more Zoom! We missed many of the holiday traditions last year, like traveling, seeing friends, and sharing moments with the arts community. So, our theme this year is “Celebrating the World’s Holidays!” Our show will feature traditions from other holidays, such as Kwanzaa and Hanukkah, as well as traditions from other regions, like the UK and China. Every family-friendly show will be different!
At this time, OCTA is still asking for performers and audience members to show proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test within the past 72 hours, in addition to wearing masks. COVID guidelines will continue to be updated for the holiday show. We will aim to allow performers to be non-masked if they show proof of vaccination.

Season Ticket Holders can reserve a ticket by emailing tickets@olathetheatre.org or by calling 913-782-2990. There is no reserved seating for special events.
All concession proceeds go to support the Jan Conner Scholarship Fund. Wreaths will be available as part of our raffle for each show. Each wreath is designed by Charlotte Gilman and Brittany Becker.
Tickets may be purchased with credit card, check, or cash. Free parking is available in the OCTA lot and on the street. Concessions are available for cash or credit donation and may be taken into the theater.
Back in the 1980s/90s, Jan Conner used to put on the “Jan Conner Christmas Show” at OCTA and would include all kinds of local talent. OCTA established a scholarship in her name. All the proceeds from concessions each night will go to support the Jan Conner Scholarship Fund which is awarded to one or two graduating Olathe high school seniors who want to pursue a degree in the arts.
